Packet Pickup

Distribute packets and assist with merchandise at Talyard Brewing Co. on Friday or Saturday.

Race-Morning Support

Help with packet pickup, parking guidance, start and finish operations or the post-race area at Smart Financial Centre.

Water Stops

Set up an assigned hydration station, prepare cups, serve runners, stay organized and clean up afterward.

Race Guides

Qualified volunteers may support pre-arranged participants as guides. Review open positions and requirements during registration.

Plan ahead: Arrive at least 15 minutes before the posted shift unless your assignment provides an earlier time. Detailed information is emailed during race week.

How It Works

Three simple steps.

Register Online

Each volunteer completes an individual RunSignup registration and selects an available shift.

Name Your Group

Representing an organization? Enter its name and ask every member to use the same group name.

Complete Your Shift

Arrive on time, check in, remain for the full assignment and check out with your coordinator.

Group Donation Program

Volunteer together. Earn support.

Large groups help fill essential positions and may qualify for an organizational donation of $250–$1,500 when members complete every program requirement.

Donation Eligibility & Calculation

Only correctly registered and completed shifts count toward the group’s donation credit.

Minimum Participation

Eligibility begins after at least 6 volunteer shifts are completed.

Donation Range

Qualifying organizations may receive a group donation ranging from $250 to $1,500.

Shift Credit

Each properly completed shift adds $15 in credit toward the group donation calculation. This is not hourly pay or direct compensation to an individual volunteer.

Required Registration

Every member registers individually and enters the group’s consistent name.

Shift Completion

Members must arrive on time, complete the full shift, and check in and out.

Donation Timing

Group donation checks are mailed after verification. Allow approximately 4–6 weeks.

Important: The program provides donations to qualifying groups—not wages or individual volunteer payments. A volunteer who does not register correctly, arrive on time, complete the full shift, or check in and out may be excluded from the group’s donation credit.
