Better Together

A steady pace. A shared goal. A stronger finish.

Lead the Team

What pace leaders commit to.

Pace leaders receive complimentary race entry in exchange for reliably guiding and encouraging their group.

Hold the pace

Maintain the finish time selected during registration.

Run as a pair

Stay with your pacing partner and share leadership duties throughout the race.

Bring the energy

Remain fun, talkative, encouraging and engaged with the group.

Return the pacing stick

Check in before and after the race. Partners may pass the stick and take turns leading.

Pacer Selection

Do you want to be a pace team leader?

Available positions are offered to returning pacers first. After 48 hours, remaining spots open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Two leaders per group. Eight pace teams.

Select the Pacer category during Half Marathon registration when positions are available. Pace leaders run free but must fulfill every pace-team responsibility.

Pace support is not a finish-time guarantee.

Athletes remain responsible for monitoring their own effort, hydration and course progress.
